Midnight in Soap Lake

Abigail moves to Soap Lake, Washington, for her husband’s research. When he leaves for Poland she is alone in a desert town with its own urban legends, until a young boy runs into her arms and draws her into the death of his mother, Esme. With a group of unusual allies she investigates Esme’s past, the town’s violent history and the mysterious lake her husband studies. As she gets closer to the truth, the rubber-suited figure known as TreeTop starts to appear.
